Forza Brings Big Changes to the City of Lebanon, IN

In the fall of 2022, Forza broke ground on one of their largest projects to date, the Brakeman building. Soon to be home to more than 40 residential apartment homes and 5,000 square footage of retail space, the Brakeman building is slated to revitalize the Lebanon community and bring in more than 30,000 patrons per year.

“Our downtown footprint is expanding,” said Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry. “And the Brakeman Building will create a fitting welcome mat along our city’s most heavily traveled street, and gateway to our downtown.”

Progress on the Brakeman has made a lot of headway and the building is set to open for patronage in the spring of this year. Leasing opportunities have just been announced for both the commercial and residential side of the building. Why build your business in the heart of Lebanon?

Lebanon is the new hotspot for up-and-coming retail developments and small-town mom and pop shops. Within the next two years, the Lebanon community will see more real estate developments, such as new bike parks, hiking trails, boutique shops, breweries, and dining options.

The city’s latest and biggest development project is the Hickory Junction Fieldhouse, a multi-purpose complex within proximity to the newly built Brakeman building. This 270,000 square foot complex will be home to the likes of semi pro basketball competitions, little league sporting events, community sport programs, shopping centers, various dining options, and even residential opportunities.

“We both, I believe, want this to be the gateway to Lebanon,” said Andy Card of Card & Associates. “This project, when completed over the next coming years, will be worth $400 million in investment by myself, the city, and our partners like Bel Canto. There will be restaurants, hotels, etcetera, etcetera,” he said. “So, this is a big deal for Lebanon, and I hope the community is excited about what’s forthcoming.”
